- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

- Cook rice in chicken broth until tender (18-20 minutes).
