Instructions

  2. Create Butter Layer: Spread softened butter between parchment sheets and roll into a rectangle. Chill while dough rises.
  3. Laminate Dough: Roll out dough, encase chilled butter, and fold as instructed. Repeat folding process two more times.
  4. Shape Croissants: Cut triangles from rolled dough, place chocolate at wide end, and roll tightly.
  5. Final Rise & Bake: Place croissants on baking sheet to rise again. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), brush with egg wash, then bake for about 20 minutes until golden.
