  • 2 large chicken breasts, cubed
  • 4–6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients. Cube the chicken breasts, dice the onion finely, mince the garlic, and chop the bacon.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving a small amount of bacon fat in the skillet for added flavor.
  3. Add a splash of oil if necessary, then cook the cubed chicken for about 5-7 minutes until browned thoroughly. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and add sour cream, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
