Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients. Cube the chicken breasts, dice the onion finely, and mince the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil if necessary. Cook the cubed chicken for about 5-7 minutes until browned thoroughly. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and add sour cream, cream cheese, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and gently coat with sauce. Allow it to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve over your choice of egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
