Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mash the bananas and mix in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; stir until just combined.
  5. For the cream cheese filling, beat together cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla until creamy.
  6. Layer half of the banana batter in the pan; sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  7. Spread cream cheese filling over this layer and top with remaining banana batter.
  8. Finish by sprinkling with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture; gently swirl with a knife.
  9. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
