  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup artichokes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt (to taste)
  • fresh cracked pepper (to taste)
  • red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and thaw the puff pastry.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped spinach, artichokes, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Cut the thawed puff pastry sheet in half and spread the filling evenly over one half.
  4. Place the other half of the pastry on top to create a sandwich.
  5. Slice into six even strips along the long side and twist each strip into swirls.
  6. Brush with an egg wash made from beating one egg with 1 teaspoon of water.
  7. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 22-24 minutes until golden brown.
