  • green bell pepper
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes (with butter and milk)
  • cup sliced carrots
  • cup green beans
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • black sesame seeds or nutritional yeast (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a frying pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add beef strips and sliced green bell pepper. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook until browned and tender.
  2. Boil peeled potatoes in a pot until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk; season to taste.
  3. Steam or lightly sauté sliced carrots and green beans until just tender; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Assemble by placing mashed potatoes on a plate as the base, topping with cooked beef strips and veggies. Garnish with black sesame seeds or nutritional yeast if desired.
