  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1½ cups chopped pecans
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish and chill for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth; add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly over the crust.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter until bubbling. Remove from heat and whisk in beaten eggs slowly to avoid scrambling. Stir in pecans and salt.
  4. Pour the cooled pecan filling over the cream cheese layer and spread evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  5. Slice into bars using a warm knife and serve chilled or with whipped cream.
