  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs, room temp
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • For the White Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • For the Orange Glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, ½ tbsp fresh orange juice


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together cake flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
  4. Stir in orange zest, orange juice, vanilla extract, and alternate adding dry ingredients with buttermilk to the mixture.
  5. Pour batter into the bundt pan and bake for 55-65 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Cool before glazing with white and orange glazes.
