- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cucumber, diced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken by mixing olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken thighs and coat well. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for about 5–7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F).
- In another bowl, mix Greek yogurt, feta cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth to create the tzatziki sauce.
- Slice the cooked chicken into strips. Spread tzatziki sauce on pita bread and layer with chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
