Ingredients

Scale
  • 56 pieces boneless chicken breast or 68 pieces boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 67 wooden skewers (soaked in water)

Instructions

  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for 10–20 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and red apple vinegar. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Cut the chicken into 1–2 inch chunks and marinate in half of the sauce for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Pour the remaining marinade into a saucepan and heat until thickened.
  5. Thread marinated chicken onto soaked skewers and grill over medium-high heat for about 8–12 minutes, basting occasionally with thickened sauce until fully cooked.
