  • 6 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 avocado
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 big garlic cloves, cut into slivers
  • ¾ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice baguette into ½-inch thick pieces and arrange on the baking sheet.
  3. Mix 3 tablespoons olive oil and garlic powder; brush onto both sides of baguette slices.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Mash avocado with lime juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. Sauté sliced garlic in remaining olive oil, then add shrimp and seasonings; cook until pink and opaque (3-5 minutes).
  7. Spread avocado mixture on crostini and top with shrimp.
  8. Serve immediately.
