Ingredients

  • 1 lemon (juiced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (smashed)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup/agave)
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¾ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¾ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • optional: up to ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl or jar, combine olive oil, lemon juice, smashed garlic cloves, honey (or maple syrup), cumin, smoked paprika, cinnamon, ginger, oregano, and turmeric.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Whisk thoroughly until well combined.
