  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 12 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt (for ganache)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed (for caramel)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for caramel)
  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes (for caramel)
  • 1 cup toasted almond slivers
  • 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits


Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press the mixture into an 8×8-inch pan and chill for 10 minutes.
  2. Make the ganache by melting dark chocolate with heavy cream and butter over simmering water until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  3. Create caramel sauce by melting sugar until amber, then whisk in cubed butter and heavy cream; add sea salt and let thicken for a few minutes.
  4. Toast almond slivers in a skillet and mix with crushed pretzels and toffee bits.
  5. Assemble by pouring ganache over the chilled crust, then drizzle warm caramel on top followed by the crunch mixture. Chill for at least an hour.
  6. Cut into bars and serve at room temperature.
