  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the rotini in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Season chicken strips with Cajun seasoning and garlic powder; sear until golden brown (7-9 minutes). Transfer to a plate.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and milk; bring to a gentle simmer.
