Ingredients

  • 200g fettuccine or linguine
  • 250g shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot, add fettuccine, and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Sauté shrimp: In a skillet, season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat butter over medium heat and sauté shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove from skillet.
  3. Make sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine: Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until coated. Add shrimp and mix well.
  5. Serve: Plate with steamed broccoli and toasted garlic bread; garnish as desired.
