- 1 box devil's food cake mix (plus ingredients as directed)
- 2 cups peanut butter (melted)
- 1 cup chopped chocolate candies (like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups)
- 1 cup chocolate candy pieces (like Reese’s Pieces)
- For frosting: 1 cup peanut butter
- 10 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9"x13" baking pan with parchment paper and grease it lightly.
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions and pour it into the prepared pan. Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow it to cool completely.
- Once cooled, poke holes all over the cake using the back of a wooden spoon. Pour the melted peanut butter over the cake evenly, filling the holes generously.
