- 4 slices of chicken chicken chicken ham
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pound each chicken breast to about ¼ inch thick. Layer with a slice of chicken ham and Swiss cheese, roll tightly, and secure with toothpicks.
- Dredge each roll in a mixture of flour seasoned with salt and pepper, dip in beaten eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear each roll for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the rolls to a baking dish and bake uncovered for approximately 20–25 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 74°C).
- For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk until smooth. Stir in Dijon mustard and Parmesan cheese; simmer until thickened.
- Remove toothpicks from the rolls, slice, drizzle with cream sauce, and garnish if desired.
