- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 2 cups cooked white rice
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions and keep warm.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat and add the sliced chicken. Cook until lightly golden on all sides, then remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add broccoli and mushrooms; stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Return chicken to the pan and pour in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, stirring to combine.
- Add cornstarch slurry and cook while stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
