  3. Mix in the eggs one at a time, then gradually fold in the self-raising flour and milk until you have a smooth batter. Gently fold in the orange zest.
  4. Pour the batter into the lined tin, spreading it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool in the tin for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
